Words of the Day: tautology and contradiction

Tautology: a tautology is a statement that is always true.

Example: It will either snow or not snow today.

A or not A is always true.

Contradiction: a contradiction is a statement that is always false.

Example: The light is on and off.

A and not A is always false.
